Energy assessment - Duna Medical Center

Duna Medical Center Ltd. (DMC) planned the construction of a 120-bed private hospital on the banks of the Danube in Budapest, with a total area of approximately 12,700 m2.

Construction of the building started in 2009 and, after a short shutdown, was continued in 2016 with a new concept that emphasises renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The complex energy audit of the private hospital, the development of an energy strategy and the identification, technical and economic assessment of the renewable and alternative energy sources that could be used were carried out by our company. As a result of the study, proposals were made to improve the energy efficiency of the hospital facility and to implement a complex and economical cooling/heating system based on alternative energy sources.
